Kitchen Remodel that Maximizes Space
This family purchased this home in 2022 and had big plans to make it into their forever home. Those plans were postponed for a while, but when they reemerged towards the end of 2023, the first room to be completely redesigned and remodeled was the outdated kitchen. It had the all-to-common cramped feel of a 90’s kitchen.
To tackle the feeling of confinement, we installed floor-to-ceiling cabinets with glass doors. Not only did this provide ample storage, but the vertical lines and glass elements also created an illusion of expanded space, making the kitchen feel more open. The countertops underwent a significant upgrade with 50+ square feet of quartz, offering a vast, durable workspace that’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
The centerpiece of this transformation was the kitchen’s cooking area. We incorporated a sleek countertop gas range, known for its precise heat control, ideal for culinary enthusiasts. Complemented by a showstopping 5ft tall stainless steel range hood and exhaust. The off-white tile backsplash from counter to ceiling helped make this feature shine. This not only added a stunning visual focus but also ensured a well-ventilated and easy-to-clean cooking space.
The final result was a breathtaking transformation. The once cramped and dated kitchen is now a spacious, modern masterpiece, blending style with functionality. It’s more than just a kitchen; it’s a space that inspires culinary creativity and invites you to linger, perfectly encapsulating the essence of a modern kitchen remodel.
