Full Job Description:

Quality Design & Remodel is an award-winning builder/remodeler in Delmar, NY, looking to hire a full-time (M-F, 8 AM – 4 PM) Project Designer. Compensation is between $60,000 and $85,000 (based on experience).

Compensation:

$60,000 – $85,000 salary based on experience. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, a retirement plan with employer match, and frequent performance-based raises.

Responsibilities:

  • Use creative skills and vision to design remodels that meet the functionality and budgetary needs of our clients.
  • Guide clients through the selection process in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Develop floorplans, 3D renderings, and a detailed job site install packet (based on the final job scope).
  • Stay current on the latest design trends (kitchen, bath, interior, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Chief Architect (or comparable design software)
  • In-depth knowledge of all aspects of the design process (design, selection, purchase, and installation).
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Positive attitude, good team member, and ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or experience in a design-related field.
