Moroccan-Inspired Bathroom Remodel
Our client, had been dreaming of this bathroom remodel for years. The original bathroom was not only outdated in style but also required significant updates to its plumbing and electrical systems. To create the perfect foundation for this dream space, we stripped the room down to its bare bones. From there, we rebuilt the bathroom with an emphasis on high-quality materials, luxurious finishes, and a cohesive design inspired by Moroccan warmth and charm.
Luxurious Features for Comfort and Style
The client was deeply involved in the design process, ensuring every detail aligned with her vision of a warm, cozy, and unique bathroom space. Beginning from the bottom, the heated floor has a design that incorporates a terrazzo-inspired 12×24 stacked tile in the central area and a Brazilian quartzite in a hexagonal pattern in the shower.
The centerpiece of the bathroom is the fully custom vanity, designed in a furniture style. Crafted from quarter-sawn white oak with a beaded inset face frame and slab drawer fronts, the vanity offers a seamless blend of beauty and function. It is topped with a stunning fantasy brown quartzite countertop, a natural stone that adds depth and character to the space. This quartzite extends into the shower and even sits atop the radiator on the other side of the bathroom beneath the window, tying the design together.
Elevated Details for a Relaxing Ambiance
Every element in this bathroom was designed with relaxation and usability in mind. The lighting, all controlled by dimmers, allows the client to create a calming ambiance for any time of day. Delta Brizo plumbing fixtures in a lux gold finish add a touch of glamour to both the sink and shower, while a Kohler medicine cabinet features a hidden magnifying mirror for added convenience.
To keep the shower uncluttered, we incorporated a hidden niche behind the wall for discreet storage. These thoughtful touches ensure the space remains functional without compromising its aesthetic appeal. The walls of the shower are adorned with matte clay tiles that mimic a handmade aesthetic, perfectly complementing the Moroccan-inspired theme.
A Happy Client and Future Plans
The client’s excitement during the design process and satisfaction with the final result made this project particularly rewarding. In fact, they were so pleased with the outcome and our team’s craftsmanship that they already started thinking about their next project, a beautiful four-season room.
