Time for a Kitchen Remodel

We had the pleasure of transforming this outdated kitchen into a warm and welcoming space for a returning client. The homeowners had wanted a fresh look for a while and decided it was time for a kitchen remodel. They wanted their kitchen to create a conducive environment for cooking and entertaining and match the charm of their classic home.

This remodel featured many earthy tones and soft finishes made to invite guests in and welcome them. Unique black soapstone countertops add a touch of elegance and perfectly complement the two-tone cabinetry (Maple Coconut and Cherry Cattail), providing a striking yet harmonious contrast.

We were very meticulous with many of the selections for this remodel, but the backsplash was love at first sight. While at one of our Selections Meetings, the homeowners came across this tile (called Artisan Dulcet Black Carrera Marble; it’s quite the mouthful!) for the area behind the range and knew they had to have it. Now, it serves as a stunning focal point in the room.

Under-cabinet lighting and carefully selected pendant lights illuminate the kitchen, highlighting its best features like a farmhouse sink that sits front and center on a large window overlooking the deck and backyard, new flooring that gives continuity to the rest of the home, and integrated modern conveniences with a panelized warming drawer and dishwasher.
