With a hands-on approach and a commitment to doing things the right way, Tom is an important part of turning great designs into beautifully built spaces. You’ll find his craftsmanship on our job sites, helping deliver the quality our clients expect.

Tell us a little about yourself.

“Well, I’ve been in the industry for about three decades. My dad was a carpenter, so my path kind of just followed from there. I love the complexity and uniqueness that my career brings. And let’s see… I’ve been in the Delmar area for about 20 years with my wife and two teenage kids.“

How’d you hear about this Quality position?

“I’ve known the company for years. And a while back, when I was working for myself, I ran into the Quality Team on a project up in Lake George.  They were doing all the right things, and I was impressed with how they worked. So, a few years later, when I was ready to move on to something new, I saw that Quality was hiring. The rest is history.“

What do you love about carpentry?

“I never realized this growing up, but now I see carpentry as art. Because for the longest time, it was just a job, just for the money. But over the years, that’s changed. Now, when I do it, there’s something about physically building things that, I don’t know, just resonates with me.”

Any fun facts about yourself you want to share?

“I love fishing and boating. I rebuilt a 23-foot center-console boat one winter. I mean, it wasn’t from the ground up, but it was enough that I had to put the work in to get it going. Now I take it down to Florida and sail out on the ocean every year that I can.“
