Best Overall Remodel
Project Description: This remodel transformed a cherished childhood home into a vibrant residence for a modern family while honoring its history. Inspired by the Kismet House, the project introduced custom cabinetry, striking cherry wood features, and a hidden pantry in the kitchen. Custom arched entryways and efficiently built-in entertainment areas improved guest experiences. The powder and laundry room were reimagined with a more functional layout and ample storage to meet the demands of a busy household. The dining room was redesigned with moldings, wallpaper, and a dramatic light fixture. The result is a warm, functional, and elegant home ready for new generations.
Best Kitchen Remodel ($125K+)
Project Description: This kitchen remodel balances luxury, durability, and everyday functionality. Custom natural white oak cabinetry with hidden features pairs with refinished red oak floors, while walnut floating shelves and an island bookshelf add charm. Recessed lighting highlights the space without distraction, with just two accent fixtures. Surfaces include an 84-inch Marble Arabescato Corchia Antico backsplash, Venetian plaster hood, and a bold island combining marble and butcher block. Black soapstone counters and Vanilla Onyx backsplash complete the palette. A walk-in pantry with blue cabinetry and a chalkboard wall extends utility. The result is a timeless, family-friendly kitchen designed for beauty and longevity.
Best Bathroom Remodel ($100K+)
Project Description: This primary bathroom remodel was about turning long-held dreams into reality. The homeowners envisioned a spa-like retreat, and Quality Design & Remodel delivered. The centerpiece is a custom steam shower, relocated and doubled in size, with a glass enclosure, slanted ceiling, and illuminated niche. Heated flooring, a freestanding tub, a Kohler smart toilet, and a custom white oak vanity with Taj Mahal quartz elevate both style and function. Warm alabaster tile contrasted with two wood-look feature walls creates a serene, modern aesthetic. The result is a daily escape that blends comfort, luxury, and timeless appeal.
Best Aging-in-Place Remodel
Project Description: This thoughtfully designed aging-in-place remodel is an addition that balances family gatherings today with long-term accessibility for tomorrow. Seamlessly tied into the existing home, it features wide entryways, flexible living spaces, and a universally designed bathroom with a curved shower and slip-resistant flooring. The result is a welcoming, functional retreat built for comfort, safety, and adaptability.

Project Description: Quality Design & Remodel’s Clifton Park Design Center was built to redefine the remodeling experience in the Capital Region. This award-winning showroom combines cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, and fixtures in a thoughtfully curated space, eliminating the need for multiple vendor visits. Designed with both inspiration and efficiency in mind, the center allows clients to explore high-end materials, review detailed plans, and make confident selections alongside our design team. Every feature—from the reception area to the conference rooms—showcases craftsmanship and creativity, helping homeowners envision their remodel while streamlining timelines and elevating the overall experience from start to finish.
