How did you find Quality?

“I come from a construction and design background—my husband and I own a fix-and-flip company, and we’ve been renovating and reselling properties for several years. Our business is now at a point where it’s systematized and running smoothly, which has given me more free time, especially with my daughter now in daycare. I decided I wanted a part-time job and started browsing opportunities online. What really drew me in was the job description; it combined accounting with a industry I’ve come to know and love.

What work have you enjoyed most so far?

“I started right before Quality opened up its new design center in Clifton Park. I didn’t get to help out much with that project, other than a few small accounting tasks, but when I walk in there, it’s just like, very peaceful, you know? I’m happy I get to work on projects as beautiful as that.

Any advice that helps you in your position?

“My biggest piece of advice is to stick with it. Growth takes time, and seeing someone like Gregg, who’s been in this industry for years, reminds me how far dedication can take you. It’s also important to push yourself outside your comfort zone. I almost didn’t apply for this position because I doubted myself, but I took the chance anyway, and now I’m here. So believe in yourself, don’t give up, and trust that stepping outside what’s familiar can lead to great opportunities!”

Any fun facts about yourself you want to share?

“A fun fact about me is that I love to organize—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. My husband and I tend to move often, usually once a year for one reason or another, so over time I’ve developed a system that makes packing and unpacking incredibly easy. Hahaha, I know it’s a little boring, but there’s just something about a clean, well-organized space that brings me peace.
